Adventurous Alan decided to take himself off into the wilderness to the head of Lake Rotoiti. He walked the track up to the top of the lake and stayed the night in the hut on one big bed and 22 other adventurers. This is a trip that I would love to take in the winter when the tops are covered in snow. I would catch a boat up to the top though and maybe walk back!
