We had a leisurely lunch out at Dress-Mart in Tawa and enjoyed each other's company. Surprisingly neither of us bought anything! We then headed off to Queensgate to explore the new complex in the Hutt. I was somewhat overwhelmed by how much it had changed and grown. It is now quite huge. We had fun trying on some clothes and I bought a couple of skirts, only one of which was black!!!!
We then headed up to Silverstream to visit with Tom and Colleen and see how Lager was getting on. I managed to snap a couple of photos of him and he is thriving with the company of Colleen's dog, Beau. He always was very photogenic but hard to make sit still like most border collies.

From Tom and Colleen's Amy and I headed off to Pop's to leave our bags and have a quick visit. Pop was in the middle of tea but we had a bit of time to catch up. He even agreed to a quick photo with Amy.

After our flying visit we headed off into town for tea. Amy chose 88 which turned out be an excellent choice. The style of the restaurant was Vietnamese-Metropolitan and the company, service and food was excellent. We finished off with a dessert chocolate fondu of fresh fruit, marshmallows and cream. Very yummy.

After tea we went for an summer evening's drive around the bays. There were lots of people out taking a stroll and enjoying the last of the light. It had been an action packed but excellent day spent with the best of company.
