Peter has been in town visiting with Mac and Bern. Seeing he was going back to Palmerston North tomorrow we thought we would go out for tea at the Leisure Lodge tonight. Alan had just arrived back from seeing his baby daughter, Joanne, happily married to Richard in Auckland. He looked very swish in his going to the big city clothes and now has four whole days off work to enjoy Nelson's crisp weather.
I took a car load of garden waste to the tip this morning and there was snow on the hills across the bay. This made things crisp and clear for the campers. I didn't fancy going for a swim in the sea so did a few lengths in the heated pool instead. Much better.

It was our neigbour, Margaret's birthday yesterday and we were invited over for a very yummy afternoon tea. Here is a photo of Margaret with her very photogenic grand-daughter, Georgia, who knows exactly what to do when someone picks up a camera!

Dennis just emailed this beautiful photo of little Amber all dressed up and ready for Santa- very cute!!
