We enjoyed their company and talk of Londonderry, connections with Dad and their lovely Irish accents. We wish them a safe journey and hopefully they will be able to call in on their next attempt at leaving the beauty and grandeur of the South Island.

Rachel, Kathryn and Louise
Today Louise, Rachel and Kathryn called in to say farewell as they headed south again for work in a backpackers in Franz Josef's glacier. We have really enjoyed their company and enthusiasm for being in New Zealand.
Last night I tried to do the kiwiana tea for them- roast lamb, kumara, new potatoes, peas, corn, gravy and mint sauce followed by boysenberries, trifle and pavlova! It was a good night and they enjoyed eating a roast. It made a nice change from flatting food and pasta!
We enjoyed their company and talk of Londonderry, connections with Dad and their lovely Irish accents. We wish them a safe journey and hopefully they will be able to call in on their next attempt at leaving the beauty and grandeur of the South Island.
