Ten Years On-Autumnal Colour

We had a bit of an adventure today as I took Mum and Mac for a drive to Dovedale to look at the colours of the beginning of autumn and to visit with a woman who was a Fairweather and may be related in some way! This old cart wheel and farm shed must have stories to tell.
This odd looking bush was across the road from the farmhouse we visited.
I might take this one for a test drive as well. Air conditioning works well!
We called for a cuppa at Kahurangi Estate on the way home. Their menu took my fancy- it was a grape stalk threaded with a rubber band through punched holes.
It is ten years ago today that Dad passed away. How quickly that time passes. In some ways it seems like such a long time and in others like yesterday.
