Last night I participated in the cancer fundraiser, 'Relay For Life'. The idea is that people get sponsors and in teams walk non-stop around a circuit for 24 hours. I joined with the Tai Chi team. I did the eleven o'clock to midnight shift. Mum even did a lap with me in a borrowed wheel chair. The rim of the circuit is lined with memorium to people who have died from cancer, each with a candle inside the bag. At the end of the relay all the bags are turned into ashes and buried with a memorial plaque. Judy's long time friend, Yvette, made this for Judy.
