The River is in Flood

It had rained heavily overnight and the river was up. As long as it stays on the riverbank it is not entirely a bad thing as it tends to flush it out nicely. This kayaker was practising going up river so I called out to him and he obligingly kayaked upstream then came racing down into my frame so you could have a focal point for my photo. If I had had the wit I would have made a video!
