Last Christmas my uncle polished up and gave me this family heirloom teapot with a little burner underneath it to keep it hot. It is looking a little tarnished. I was wondering if some who is more domesticated than me knows what I should do with it. Do I polish it and clean away all the silver or leave and only clean it when it really needs it. I should watch more Antiques Roadshow.

You could take it to an antique
shop and see what they say, or an antique restorer. It looks a really impressive piece of work and is probably worth a bit too. Do treasure it, it's absolutely lovely!
