When Mum passed away my dear friend Polly bought this flowering cherry for me to grow and remember. It is doing very well and a few people have stopped to admire it as they walk past which is lovely. We are having some great spring tides as well which bring people out in the sunshine. Click on the photo to see it in its full glory before the wind blows the blossoms away.
Motueka High School gave me this kaka beak in remembrance of Mum as well and it really flourishing by the front path.
