Today was Mum and Yvette's birthday. I celebrated by accompanying Yve on a horse ride. It was great spending the day doing something a little less ordinary. Mum would have enjoyed the laughter as we showed our lack of horsemanship!
It was a great ride- not uneventful though as my horse tripped and the lead horse got scared when a little newborn lamb jumped out from inside a clump of reeds by the river!
I had forgotten how high up you feel when you're on horseback.
