Tonight Dame Kiri Te Kanawa came to Nelson's Opera in the Park. The event was held in a nearby park. I am not overly fond of that sort of singing so gave it a miss. I was busy doing my homework when it sounded like a bomb going off- fireworks! I rushed outside with the nearest camera I could find and captured this rather nice photo.
