Today we had a picnic of Christmas leftovers out at Washbourn gardens in Richmond. Donald enjoyed the greenery of Nelson as Brisbane has the 'big dry' on the moment and it is unpatriotic to wash your car and you are not allowed to water the garden. I suggested that he might like to clean my car seeing he is so keen to waste some water!!!!
The hollyhocks give a bit of colour to the garden at the moment. This one is in our front garden behind the fence and safe from louts who like to walk down the street snapping the flowers off anything that looks like it might be a 'tall poppy'.
