Dennis sent us a 'heads up' to look out for Mainland Banner racing in the NZ Breeders' Stakes Mobile 2600 m. Her excellent racing form meant that she was only paying $1.30 for a win and $1.10 for a place but we get heaps more value than that in enjoyment and excitement watching her win. As she races quite late we listened on the radio and then downloaded the race video from the internet- a poor man's Sky TV!
And then we chatted with all the Berzins in Sydney using Skype. I now have nine people all over the world that I can talk to for free using Skype and the internet. Cool bananas!
