8/365 Lego City Police Car

The family has arrived and the lounge is awash with Lego, toys and construction. Needless to say the iPad has to be rationed until the novelty wears off a bit.

7/365 The Buller

Today I took a couple of octogenarians to a remembrance service for one of their mates in Murchison. While they were having a cuppa tea and a sausage roll afterwards I snuck away and found a cache and took some photos.

I bought the cutesy 4gb flash drive today. It' hot class. I reckon I could wear it on a silver chain as a necklace. The little sparkly bits are like diamonds and ypu all know how I like a bit of bling. The app is I Can See which is magnifying glass that I can use until my glasses turn up.

Today I had my eyes tested so that I could see the fine print on my iPhone. $1124 and I am using the same frames. They had better be good. I got the optician to email me the photos he took so not strictly my photo but very much of me!!!

4/365 Melrose House

Here I sit on the front lawn of Melrpse House before I go scrummaging through the gardens looking for a geocache. Edited today with Photoshop Express to prove that I haven't entirely turned my back on Adobe. Bless them.

This is what happens to a dear little zucchini if you don't harvest it when you should. It grows into this enormous great thing that takes two people to carry.

2/365 High Geek Afternoon Tea

This afternoon the geeky Dave, the lovely Judy and their family called in for afternoon tea. As they were travelling to Kaiteriteri with a 1950s caravan o thought I would break out the best china and make some banana cup cakes and home made pikelets. We all had a super cup of tea, swapped a few apps before sending them on their way to their South Island holiday. It was great to catch up.

I made this panorama on the phone at the same time I made the actual 1/365 photo. I am posting to see what happens as I email the photo to the blog. Firstly to see if it works and also to see if it automatically posts to last year's 365 and my family blog. And secondly to see how it copes with a long thin photo that looks great on the phone at least.
